Wednesday

Darling,

Gosh, I don’t know when I shall be able to get home and see you. You see, I work seven nights a week and sleep days. That scarcely leaves time for a trip to 3rd Cliff does it?

I hope you’ll excuse my writing, as it is 3:30 am and I have been rather busy, I’M TIRED! But, if you can’t read it, look up your friend George, maybe he can. You know George, He-He-He. He is a nice feller that George!

On reliving our date at Dreamworld, once more tonight, I wonder how you ever put up with my antics.

Dreamworld

Dreamworld. Hingham, MA

I wish I knew what you really think of me, way back behind those gorgeous blue eyes. That’s right, I said gorgeous! (time out while I walk around the ship and make certain everything is in order) Well everything is ok. Just put on a pot of coffee. I make rather good coffee! Of course it’s just luck. Open the can, dump in coffee, add water, and boil like mad. Nothing to it.

I missed you over the weekend Betty. I hope we can have another weekend together before I sail, but I’m not promising anything. Has Bobby been hearing from Jim?

What a life! I go to bed after breakfast, at 9:00 am, and get up at 4pm. I don’t have any trouble sleeping in the daytime either. I don’t expect you’d think I would.

I’m getting a little woozy now, and have to use both hands to keep my eyes open.

Honey, when you have an inclination as to how you feel toward me, please close your letters as I do, so I’ll know.

Love,
David

P.S.
Thanks for YOU! G’nite
